Shoot For Love - Utah Photographer

So I recently found a facebook page and website called Shoot for Love. Every month there's a photo assignment and this month for October was to go outside your house and shoot things within 50 yards of your home. I have actually done this on one other occasion but I really loved what I got from it and it was nice to shoot just for me and to look to "things" rather than "people" for inspiration. I also feel that from seeing some of Jake Garn's work I was also inspired. :) Hope you like!

Individuals - Northern Utah Photographer

This is Katie. Not only is she such a sweet person and friendly but she has amazing blue eyes and an even more amazing voice! Katie is pursuing her dream of going to Nashville to record a label WOOHOO you go girl!!

We had soo much fun doing her session and she was singing on the streets it was awesome! I felt like I was just there to take photos of her being her (self-described) Diva self!

Katie will be holding a fundraising concert in January to get her journey going. I will also be holding special fundraising sessions to support her. Watch for more info on those exciting announcements!

I'm so excited to be FINALLY sharing these images. They were taken last fall and due to delicate circumstances they being shared now. I absolutely love these two people and wish them all the best. I had a blast shooting this session and am greatful for the time I was able to spend with them. Enjoy!!
